Pottery, Pottery Everywhere

I’ve been pretty focused on pottery lately.  Here is my first attempt at a container with a lid.  This is going to be a gift box for a fused glass pendant I’m making for my step-mother.   The other items are a small pitcher for my mother and a little bowl.  The bowl is a case of serendipity.  I was practicing with the clay and folded the rim over…and liked it.

This is my metal glaze tile board.  Bo bought the metal board off Craig’s List.  I stuck magnets to the backs of the tiles and hung them by glaze type (low-fire or high-fire).  This allows me  to quickly see what each glaze will look like once fired.
