A Couple Cards and Some Fused Glass

Today was a great garage sale/flea market day!  Jill and I hit a garage sale and bought some more stamps and embellishments.  Then Bo called from the flea market where he had bought me a bunch of stamps and beads.  We stopped by on the way home and got some more!

I used the Stampin’ Up All That I Have Seen set for these two cards.

This card was made using an ivory card base that I stamped with a tool that looks like a scrubbing pad attached to a stick…it leaves a really cool pattern.  I stamped the dragonfly onto cream cardstock with Stampin’ Up Perfect Plum ink and mounted it to a square of purple cardstock.  I cut out two pieces of coordinating cardstock for the bottom border and adhered everything to the card base.  The sentiment is from Studio G and stamped in Perfect Plum.

This card is on an ivory card base that was also stamped with the ‘scrubby’ tool in Stampin’ Up Mellow Moss ink.  The images and sentiment are stamped on cream cardstock in Mellow Moss.  The little background are made from the metal lid of a Beneful dog food container that has been run thru the Cuttlebug with the Victoria folder, cut to size and colored with Adirondack Alcohol Ink in Meadow.  Finally, a piece of coordinating ribbon was tied into a not and threaded thru a couple slits made in the card.  The bottom embellishments are three buttons from the Simplicity Button Bucket.

These two tack fused pieces are from the class that Jill, Kay, Chris and I took Friday night (forgot to take pictures at the class).  The brown piece was actually supposed to be pink…not sure what happened to the glass when fired.
