I was confined to my studio watching over my puppy, Winston, who had his neutering surgery today, so I made a couple simple cards and a bookmark.
This card is made using a cream card base with a green card cut to fit inside. 1/4” of the front of the cream card was cut off to allow the green to show on the edge. I used a double hole punch to put the holes in the cream card and 2 sizes of flower punches for the little flowers that are adhered to the green card. A dab of Glossy Accents was put in each flower and dusted with Pearl Perfect Pearls. To finish it off, a ribbon is tied around the binding.
This card is made from a watercolor paper card base. Simply wet the paper where you want the color and slather on some blue watercolor paint. I used a heat gun to move the paint around a bit and dry it. Then emboss the snowflakes with Winter Wonderland embossing powder. The sentiment is from an Inkadinkadoo set and is stamped in Faded Jeans Distress ink.
The bookmark is made by covering a tag with silver metal tape and sanding it a bit. The images are from Tim Holtz and Stampin’ Up and are stamped with Stazon ink in Timber and Saddle Brown with a bit of Archival ink in Cobalt around the edges and in bits of the images. A silver and gold ribbon complete the bookmark.
