We had a craft day today to start making our Christmas cards…a little late, I know. Had a great time, and so far 15 lucky people will get cards this year.
These 3 styles were all made with white card bases. The stamps are from the Just Rite Groovy Snowmen and Vintage Christmas sets. They are stamped in Stazon Azure and Black inks and colored with Prismacolor watercolor pencils. They were stamped onto shapes cut from the Cricut Accent Essentials cartridge. The sentiment is from the Inkadinkadoo Warm Holiday Wishes collection.
The card used a cream card base with a snowflake pattern paper as the background. The image is the Christmas Singing Duo from House Mouse and the sentiment is from DOTS. They were both stamped in Timber Brown Stazon ink, and the image was colored with Prismacolor watercolor pencils. They were adhered to a coordinating brown background and attached to the card.
The card is a red card base. A piece of kraft cardstock was embossed with the snowflake Cuttlebug folder and adhered as the background. The same kraft cardstock was layered on red cardstock and used as addition layers on the card. Green raffia was tied around the horizontal piece and a tree stamp from Studio G was stamped on the main piece in Evergreen ink by Marcella.
This card was the easiest. Both the stamped sentiment section and the ivy section were found in a lots purchased from a flea market. I adhered them to a white card base and voila…Christmas card!
