I was asked to help a friend as a photographer for this event.  We set up a portable portrait studio, and I manned it for the event.  It was a big event for a great cause...and the food was good too!

 

Valentines Day

Here is the Valentine’s Day card I made for the DH.  It is a pretty simple design.

I was also surprised by a bouquet of flowers…and more surprised when I realized he had ‘recycled’ a card from the neighbors to put on my flowers!!

Frosty Morning at Garden of the Gods

This morning a couple of other photographers and I decided it was a great idea to get up before dawn and go to Garden of the Gods for a sunrise shoot…in 19* weather…with extensive fog…

We actually had a good time despite nearly freezing and got some good shots…I think.

Painting With Light

This is my first attempt at painting with light photography.  Basically, you set a long exposure, 30 sec or so, and aperature/ISO to produce a pure black exposure.  Using pen lights, flash lights or whatever light source you want, you paint in the areas of the photo you want to show…the brighter you want it, the longer you leave the light on it.
